Must Review, but What?

I am supposed to write a review of something, but I haven't decided what to review. A pattern? A book? A yarn? A store? A brand of needles? A podcast?

I don't know yet, I will give it some thought and get back to you.

Punky swan maiden

This very cute pattern, by Holly Terrell, Corvidae, on Ravelry, called:Swan Maiden Mitts, is made with lace weight yarn or if you want you can try sock weight. I had acquired some very colorful lace weight from Cdaniele, on ravelry, and decided to try. It almost has a stripey effect. I really like them.

I also finished another roll/wallet for KP options needles, well actually two, and sent one to my dad's girlfriend as a gift.

This is the one that went to my dad's girlfriend, I made another with a plain navy ribbon instead of gold. It is I haven't put it in my artfire store yet, but maybe soon.

Oh yeah I opened an artfire store, my name there is Psstknits, or http://PsstKnits.artfire.com

Where did all the flowers go?

I think I must have hit the winter doldrums, because I am not motivated to do anything really.

I got frustrated with the shawl I was making, I had to rip out a whole repeat, and have been kicking myself about not putting a lifeline in.

I want to make some gifts for children's birthdays coming up, but they are all off track so I don't know how I will keep it secret.

I did however with the help of JenDeJour figure out how to make a cute little needle roll for options needles. I am working on a design for circular needles next.

Here is the official debut of the Psst Options Roll:

It is about 6 inches by 16 inches open, and 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide folded. I intend to make the ribbon a little longer on future versions, but overall I am happy with this new version of my needle rolls.

I have bee asked to open an etsy, but I really don't want to, I am trying to figure out a different way to make them available, there is always email and paypal. :)
