Felted bag

Ok, if you haven't noticed, this is now my knitting/handicrafts blog. I discovered Ravelry.com and have to admit I am addicted. I have always considered myself an avid knitter anyway, now I have so many more options...

I found this pattern for a little clutch. I knit it up in one day, then felted it. I have never felted anything before. It was so much fun! I am hooked!

Hey Psst - that is so cool! Felting's fun isn't it!? Did you have to line it, or is the felted fabric sturdy enough? Followed your project link from our Bag-A-Licious Ravelry group - thanks for sharing it :-)

I was going to line it, but it seems very solid, and I don't want to get into making something fit, so I am leaving it.

I was looking at it again, and if you ever *do* decide to line it, take the lining to just beneath the handle holes and you should be fine. It'd be far simpler to do that than worry about how to include the handles in the lining. Still, it looks gorgeous just as it is!
